TD001 Women’s Black

The TD001 is an updated edition of the classic submariner’s sandal which was standard issue when our founder Mike joined the Royal Navy (HMS Turbulent) as a 16 year old on 24th September 1984. The original submariner sandal was worn by Mike and all who sailed with him, every day on board (and also on shore in warmer climates), except for those doing dangerous labour in the engine room.

The TD001 is therefore, a product borne of tradition. Our vision for the TD001 is that it sets the standard for all of our products going forward: good quality and good looking products that become genuinely meaningful items, enhancing the path you travel in life. To take our vision one step further, for every pair of TD001 sold, we will donate 5 books to children’s literacy and education programs through Room to Read Australia.
